Content: Folio 275. Draft letter from the Poor Law Board to William Jones, Clerk to the Guardians of the Llanfyllin Union acknowledging his letter and copy resolution concerning the continuance in office of Thomas Edwards as medical officer for Llansantffraid [Llansanffraid]. If Edwards keeps an assistant and surgery at Llansantffraid as proposed, attends three days a week and keeps all cases under his care the Board will allow him to continue as he lives only two miles from his district. The clerk is reminded of the Board's letter about the appointment of David Evans as medical officer for the Meifod and Llanrhaiadr [Llanrhaeadr] districts and asked what has been decided regarding their recommendations.
