Letter from Lewis Usher, Vestry Clerk, Llanfihangel [in the Llanfyllin Union] to the Poor Law Board, enquiring whether he or the assistant overseer should write a copy of the list of voters. Annotated [by William Golden Lumley]: unless he has arranged with the parish to do so it is not his responsibility as vestry clerk to prepare a list of voters: it is strictly speaking the overseers' duty, but is likely to have been delegated to the assistant overseer.
