Content: Folio 54. Draft letter from the Poor Law Board to J and W Rees Mogg [John Rees Mogg and William Rees Mogg], Clerks to the Guardians of the Clutton Poor Law Union, concerning the payment of expenses incurred in apprehending of Benjamin Goold [Gould] a pauper. The Board now find, regarding the clothes belonging to the guardians and stolen, that they should pay the charges and then apply to the Board as to where to apportion the cost according to 7& 8 Vic c 101 s 59. The bills which were sent on 21 April [1851] are returned. No enclosure found. Paper Number: 21995/1851. Poor Law Union Number 374. Counties: Somerset.
