Description:
Content: Folio 414. Letter from Thomas Oxford, Clerk to the Guardians of Keynsham Union, Bath, to the Poor Law Commission, saying that in the case of the death of Joyce Bryant the verdict of the jury, 'starvation and want of food', also made clear that no blame attached to the relieving officers: she had received 2s 6d from Mr Flower on the Thursday preceding her death on the Tuesday, as well as 3s from a relative on the same day that she was given 1s worth of food.
