Draft letter from the Poor Law Commission to Thomas Oxford, Clerk to the Guardians of the Keynsham Union concerning the case of Joyce Bryant of the parish of Compton Dando who died in the parish of Publow, Clutton Poor Law Union, on 9 February 1847, and noting the coroner's verdict that she had died of 'starvation and want of food'. They note circumstances of relief claims made by Bryant as detailed by George Flower, Relieving Officer, in witness depositions to the coroner, and request the observations of the Keynsham guardians on the matter.
