Draft letter from the Poor Law Commission to W E Goodacre, junior, Clerk to the Guardians of the Mansfield Poor Law Union, regarding emigration expenditure to Mary Vernon to be paid out of the Warsop parish [rates] to join her husband in Vespra Lake Simcoe, [Ontario], West Canada. They state that his not being resident in the United States [of America] as stated previously does not affect their previous decision to not sanction this payment to the deserted woman.
