Content: Folio 29. Letter from Letter from W E Goodacre, Clerk to the Guardians of the Mansfield Poor Law Union, to the Poor Law Commission, in regard to medical tickets. He acknowledges receipt of a circular dated the 4 January 1845 referring to the observing of articles 16, 17 and 18 of the General Medical Order in the union. He states that the provisions have been acted upon with some delay in the issuing of the tickets at the close the half year, but that in future it is intended to issue the tickets punctually every six months. The number on the present list is 1,491. Paper Number: 1746/B/1845. Poor Law Union Number 337. Counties: Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire.
