Content: Folios 105-108. Letter from Taylor and Johnston, Bishops Stortford, to the Poor Law Commission, forwarding, as requested by the overseers of the parish a memorial signed by 175 ratepayers of Bishops Stortford. The memorial states that the ratepayers understand that the parish and several adjoinng parishes will be united for the administration of the poor law relief. They think this will be a disadvantage to the parish and humbly request to be allowed to administer the poor law separately from any other parish.
