Folio 40: James Young, aged 19, ordinary seaman; date of attack, 3 January 1866. Folio 40: George Peale, aged 19, ordinary seaman; date of attack, 3 January 1866; died 10 January 1866. Folio 40: George Bowman, aged 21, ordinary seaman; date of attack, 5 January 1866. Folio 40: Herbert Epps, aged 20, captain's servant; date of attack, 11 January 1866; died 17 January 1866.

Folio 41: 'Commodore's weekly return of sick and wounded, number victualled and percentage of complement on sick list'.

Note, '251 cases of venereal disease of whom 2 were invalided and 56 went to hospital - the days sickness in the ship amounting to 2617 at a cost to Government of £228.19.9 lost in unearned wages, this is in money alone, food and other allowances are not included'.
