Content: Folios 90-91. Letter from Charles Bond, Clerk to the Guardians of the Axminster Poor Law Union, to the Poor Law Commission. In reply to Commission's letter of 17 September 1836 regarding alteration of dietary number three and show table to of alterations. The guardians trust that the Commission will sanction proposed changes as they favour the union. The majority of workhouse inmates are aged and infirm so diet suggested it a better arrangement. Also the Commission's letter does not state to whom club monies should be paid and ask who is to be paid. Annotation: sanction proposed alteration. Paper Number: 3487/B/1836.
