Description:

Philip Stephens. The Intrepid arrived at Plymouth on the 22nd March, under orders to be paid off and laid up there. It appears from Commissioner Curry's letter that the ship was still in commission in April because the Captain was asked to provide paybooks, alphabets and slop books, on the day of his arrival but could not be moored until the 7th April, due to weather conditions. The paybooks were received on the 18th April, the stores were discharged and the vessel paid on the 22nd April
