Letter from John Harrop, Clerk to the Manchester Board of Guardians, to Poor Law Commissioners, informing them that Walker Galland, Medical Officer to the Tib Street workhouse, has, in consequence of a serious attack of fever, resigned his appointment to the workhouse, and the guardians have appointment John Shepherd Fletcher as replacement medical officer, at an annual salary of £100, medicines to be supplied from Manchester Poor Law Union. |
