Special Collections: I K Brunel Collection
Various papers of I K Brunel, engineer to the Great Western Railway. The collection includes Brunel's letter books, 1835-1843, and his notes on a wide range of engineering matters.
Most papers which formerly belonged to I K Brunel and which were presented in 1909 to Great Western Railway Company by Mr Saxton Noble, a descendant of I K Brunel (See GWR Board Minute of 15th October 1909).
