Drafts from the chambers of the various Chancery masters, in particular Archibald Keen, having been, for the most part, inherited from their predecessors. The predecessors of Master Archibald Keen (1912-1931) in his role as a Master/Chief Clerk were Master William Oxenham Hewlett (1890-1911), Master Edward Daniel Mellor (1883-1889) and, for causes with initial letters A-F, Master Edward Bloxam (1867-1882) and Master Edward Weatherall (1858-1866).
