Description:

Marlborough, Ferdinandt van Collen, Goslinga and Baron de Reede de Renswouds [the Dutch deputies] to the states of Brabant: the queen and the states general have sent [the army] to support the just claims of Charles III to the realms of Spain and invite the states to submit to him. He will maintain all their ancient rights and privileges; there will be no changes in religion and the king will renew the joyeuse entrée of Brabant. [Annotated that the two other letters to the sovereign council and the burgomasters and magistrates of Brussels are of the same tenor]. Dated at camp at Beaulieu. ff. 428, 429
