The Rhine has flooded between the fortified towns of Hagenau and Drusenheim. There are rumours of a corps advancing on Homburg. He will not condemn General Thungen for abandoning Croon Weissenburg until he has heard his reasons. The 3,000 horses requested for the Moselle operation are assured. Dated at Schwalbach.
