Description:

Sieur Reichart [?to the baron de Berlepsch]: continuous marches have prevented him from replying to the last three letters. He had hoped to leave immediately to communicate the elector of Bavaria's resolution, but it is impossible to do so now for fear of offending the French, who already have wind of the negotiations. PS. written at Wiblingen, with directions for a secret meeting at Günzburg, near Ulm. Written at camp at Laupheim, between Vienna [probably Ulm is meant] and Biberach, and received in Nuremberg on 10 June. f. 68
