This series consists of case books of the High Court of Appeals for Prizes.

These case books contain printed copies of cases tried in the High Court of Admiralty and Vice-Admiralty courts, which subsequently went to appeal. They usually outline the cases of appellants and respondents, as set out in depositions, examinations, etc, of claimants and captors, and the reasons for the decisions of the inferior courts. The outcome of the appeal is generally noted in manuscript on the case paper concerned.
