The Airworthiness Requirements Board (ARB) is responsible for giving advice to the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) on matters relating to the regulation and general oversight of air safety, including operational safety and airworthiness matters; civil aviation medical standards; associated legislative requirements; certification of aircraft and aircraft operations; approval of organisations; the licensing of aerodromes, flight crew personnel and aircraft maintenance engineers; activities relating to mandatory and voluntary occurence reporting and any other matters which appear to the board to relate to the standards mentioned above and on which the board considers it appropriate to give advice to the authority.

The ARB continues to meet approximately 11 times a year.
