Subject of depositions: Marshes called "Walland Wallyn or Walter Marsh" a place near the town of Rye, called the Camber and Appledore Channel; whether lands gained from the sea. Also touching the manor of Chaynie alias Chaine Court, in Wallon Marsh (Kent); whether gained from the sea; whether some time belonging to the Archbishop of Canterbury, then to Henry VIII, then to Sir Thomas Chaynie and Henry Lord Chaynie, and to William Bird. Also touching marshes in Ivischurch and Midley, inned by John Romney. Choking of Rye Harbour. Former suits are referred to.
