Christopher George Lewin became Controller, Corporate Pensions in 1973 having served in Corporate Pensions since 1970. He served on the Works of Art Investment Sub-committee. In 1978 he was seconded by C A Rose, board member for personnel, to undertake a study of operational efficiency at British Railways Board (BRB) headquarters. In 1981 Lewin was appointed Coordinator of Private Capital, initially under the Finance Director, British Rail Investments Ltd, and later under the Director of Finance and Planning, BRB, and, from 1986, the Managing Director, Procurement and Special Projects, BRB. |
