This series contains all the surviving departmental staff records, principally the Keeper's staff files. These contain administrative details of such matters as attendance, absence, regrading and promotion and also, in some cases, reports of scientific work, expeditions etc. Also included are a number of the official diaries recording daily duties that staff were required to keep. Series held at The Natural History Museum are catalogued more fully in its online catalogue (reference DF BOT/407).
