Overseas Finance Sector was created in 1975. It became Overseas Finance in 1985. In 1995 it was replaced by the International Finance Directorate.

European Community Group existed to 1995 after which it became the European Union Coordination / European Future Strategy and Trade Policy and Developments.

European Community Division 1 existed to 1995. Thereafter it became Regional Country Analysis / World Economic Issues / Trade Policies and Developments to 1997. This unit created the ITPA prefix records.
