PT 1/1-52 are arranged in chronological order; PT 1/53-158 and 159-242 are arranged in registry series order with files (prefix F) arranged before batches (prefix B). Batches was the term used in the Public Trustee Office for folders of papers which were not expected to accrue and consequently registered files were not raised. Further departments used are ADP (automatic data processing), N (departmental notes) and PT (Public Trustee).
