A series of letters: two from Sir James McAdam, recommending that a provisional order be granted for Aldermaston and Basingstoke turnpike road and requesting approval for the provisional orders authorising a reduction of interest in the turnpike trusts for Aldermaston and Basingstoke Road first district, Minehead New Road to Bampton, Kingston and Leatherhead Road, Temple Normantion and Tibshelf, Crowcombe District of the Minehead Roads, Dilhorn District of the Cheadle Roads and Alton District of the Cheadle Roads. Two letters from the Clerk to the Trustees of the Minehead Turnpike Trust concerning the provisional order and thanking Sir George Grey for his prompt attention to the application made by the trustees.
