Description:

Peter ARTON, alias Shlomo ARTON, Slama APELBAUM, Petr APELBAUM, Anton SLAMA, Petr SALO, Gad ALLON: Czech. ARTON served in the RAF in the UK during the Second World War. Following a year, 1946-1947, spent in Czechoslovakia, he returned to the UK and established himself in the textile business. ARTON's contact with a known Czech intelligence officer and his involvement in low-level Czech Intelligence activity led to his deportation in April 1954. He finally settled in Israel
