Folios 4-5: case no 2, James Richards, aged 41, gunner mate; taken ill at Falmouth Harbour; sick or hurt, concussion of the brain; put on sick list 3 May 1835, sent 6 August 1835 on board the Astraea, in the course of 8 to 10 days he was returned to the African apparently cured but partial loss of memory remained for six weeks after which he returned to duty.
