This series contains minutes and papers of the Headquarters Board of the two agriculture industry training boards. The bound volumes in this series also contain the minutes of some meetings of the Agricultural Training Board's Vocational Qualifications Committee.

Records of regional boards of the Agricultural, Horticultural and Forestry Industry Training Board and the Agricultural Training Board, which were responsible for organising training locally as directed by the headquarters boards, have been transferred to the following county record offices: Devon; Kent; Lancashire; Lincolnshire; Norfolk; North Yorkshire; Northumberland; Oxfordshire; Powys; Shropshire; Somerset; Suffolk; Warwickshire; West Sussex; and to the Scottish Record Office.
