Papers of the Education and Advisory Services Divisions of the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food and its predecessors dealing with agricultural education, grants to agricultural colleges and local authorities, scholarships for the sons and daughters of agricultural workers, and material on the Joint Advisory Committee on Agricultural Education. The series contains the records of other advisory bodies, including the Agricultural Colleges Committee: also files on the National Federation of Young Farmers Clubs and Lord Carrington's Working Party on Agricultural Education.

The series includes some earlier papers which were re-registered in the AE series.
