Title: Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food: Monthly Agricultural Reports
Description:

Monthly crop reports by the county advisory officers from 1950, giving details of the weather, condition of crops and livestock, forecast and actual yields, etc, for each county in England and Wales; and summaries from 1906. The title of the reports was changed in 1959 from Monthly Crop Reports to Monthly Agricultural Reports. The series also contains crop weather reports under the Agricultural Meteorological Scheme for the period 1924 to 1932.

The reports for the years 1954-1955, 1957-1959, and 1961-1963 are complete, but for each of the remaining years up to 1967 a few of the reports have not been traced.

Arrangement:

These reports are arranged in alphabetical order of English and Welsh counties. In the majority of cases all reports for one month are contained in one folder, although exceptionally it has been necessary to split a monthly folder into more than one part.
