Catalogue description Auditors of the Imprest and Successors: Various Accounts

These rolls consist for the most part of the particulars of accounts, vouchers and other documents subsidiary to the declared accounts to the Auditors of the Imprest and Commissioners of Audit and the Exchequer and Audit Department and frequently contain considerably more detailed information as to the several items of expenditure. With a few exceptions they are not later in date than 1867.

Includes receipt book for French refugees dated 1806 (AO 3/904). Contains some records that were in E 405.
