E 1611616-1888Exchequer: King's Remembrancer: Common Minute Books
Minute books of orders made upon motion in the outer court of the Exchequer. Until 1841 the minutes are of orders in both equity and revenue causes. After 1841 they relate to revenue matters alone.
The minutes recorded the nature of the motion, the names of the counsel who made or opposed it, the documents read, and the decision of the court. Some also indicate the name of the clerk in court acting for each party.
