Supreme Court of Judicature: High Court of Justice, Chancery Division: Petitions
This series is in continuation of earlier chancery petitions and consists of written statements by petitioners to the High Court of Justice setting out the facts upon which remedy or relief is sought. Many of them concern the administration of estates, particularly as regards applications by trustees and others for payment out of funds in court. Others arise from a variety of matters including proceedings under the Companies Acts 1862-1929, the Patents and Designs Acts 1907-1946, the Assurance Companies Act 1909 and the Trading with the Enemy Act 1939.
Material is arranged alphabetically within each year or quarterly, or other parts of the year.
