Description:

Copies of files from the captured German Foreign Ministry Archives, filmed for the German War Documents Project. They include collections of papers of individuals, mainly of former members of the German diplomatic service, whose papers were preserved with the archives of the German Foreign Ministry.

Two other groups of documents of related interest were also filmed in this series. The filming of Nachlaesse under this program has been concentrated on material of the pre-1920 period. These files were selected for filming by the American Historical Association.
