Legend: + EDWARDVS o REX o AIIGLI 7 FRAC Unbarred N. Coin face: double tressure of nine lobes, with trefoil at points; crown, hair, bust and arms visible; segment broken away but does not affect reading; bevelled edge. Shaft: square in section where spike joins shaft, chamfered to octagonal, passing to round section below coin face; spike square in section, slightly pushed up by pressure, blunt tip squared off but still slightly furred at extreme tip. Height of shaft 99 mm. Height of spike 33 mm. Diameter of coin face with bevel 27 mm. Without bevel 24 mm.
