War Office: War of 1914-1918: Western Front: Photographs
This series consists of aerial and other photographs taken in Flanders during the First World War. The majority of the photographs were taken from aircraft and were used for intelligence, mapping and reconnaissance purposes, but the series also contains artillery panoramas which show views of the battlefield taken from artillery positions (WO 316/24-39).
