Series WO 416 consists of German record cards of British and Commonwealth prisoners of war and civilian internees during the Second World War.
Use the form below if you would like to request a paid search of WO 416 records for an individual who is deceased. If you would like to request a search for a living individual, use our other WO 416 request form.
Please note that by the middle of 2023 we hope to have made the records of all the individuals in WO 416 freely searchable on our online catalogue. You may therefore wish to wait until then to avoid the charge that there is for this service. There is more information on this project and its timetable in the WO 416 series description, under ‘Arrangement’.
