Letter from Benjamin Giles King, Youngsbury, Standen, Hertfordshire, enclosing a deposition from James Woodhead (same place) concerning an attempted murder (he was beaten and shot at) made on him by 3 men. He asks if a reward and pardon (but not for the gunman) can be secured. A reward poster for £50 is also enclosed.
