Edward Horden of Goudhurst [in Kent] to William Hunte of Ticehurst

 

A messuage with the buildings upon it, three gardens, six pieces of arable, a grove and a lane at Dalehill in Ticehurst, called Homefeld, Coupersfeld, Midelfeld, Longefeld, Hasylfeld, Bromefeld and Hasylgrove (E, N: lands of Thomas Hunte and John [document torn]; S, E: lands of Thomas Boleyn, esq; W, S: lane at Dalehill and a small piece of land of Robert Couper)

 

Which EH lately had by the demise of his feoffees John Hales, Gervase Hendle, John Co[urth]ope and Henry Patynden [on 16 Jan 1508 - see DUN 5/3 below], and which he formerly had, jointly with his deceased father John Horden, by the feoffment of John Smyth, clerk, rector of Peasmarsh [on 20 Jun 1486 - see DUN 2/32 above]

 

Of the consideration, £10 has been paid, and £30 is to be paid in annual instalments of £5 at Ticehurst church on St George's day
