Shows the area from the Portsmouth and Arundel Canal in N. to the sea in S. and River Arun in E. to Climping Street, Church Lane and Ford Road in W. Names The Outwards; New Battery; Ferry Road; Littlehampton Harbour; Ferry; [Harvey's] Shipyard; Bonding Pond; [Portsmouth and Arundel] Canal; Sewer Ditches [Ryebank Rife, Rope Walk and Climping Church Farm Ditches]; [Ryebank Rife, Climping Church and Ford] Sluices; Church Farm; Ford and Climping Churches. Compass. Marks River Arun; groynes; Ryebank Rife; Ford Church, Rope Walk and Climping Church Farm Ditches. Also marks the land under the two levels and that chargeable to the 'Groin Rate', which is numbered to correspond with a reference table giving owners, occupiers and acreages.
