Description:

Whereby after reciting leases dated 4th November, 1606 by Sir John Mallet and others to Edmond Bartholomew the elder of Donnington, Sussex, tailor of a messuage and 8½ acres in Donnington and to William Faith or Watkin of a messuages and 3 acres in Donnington. And further reciting assignments dated 30th September, 1616 by Thomas Ingram to Edmond Bartholomew of Faith's 3 acres and 10th July, 1624 by Edmond Bartholomew to Joan Finch of Northmundham widow of all the above premises. And a lease dated 4th November, 1606 by Sir John Mallet and others to Thomas Harris of Donnington of a messuage and 16 acres in Donnington occupied by Richard Finch. And an assignment dated 11th June, 1658 by Christopher Pescod of Bosham, Sussex, and Elizabeth his wife to Thomas Hide (1) of all the above premises. By the present deed, as a marriage portion for Margaret, daughter of the late Anthony Bolbin of Portsmouth, (1) assigns to (2) all of the above property together with the lands called Pitts Nywood, the said Thomas Hide and Margaret Bolbin to enjoy the profits of the same. Signature: Thomas Hide, seal gone. No witnesses.
