Opened in 1871, with seating for 700, this church served the working-class Dingle area, absorbing the Herculaneum congregation, and a small mission in Miller Street, which was sold to Toxteth Tabernacle. It was closed after Methodist Union in 1932 and taken over by the Bethel Evangelistic movement which developed it into a Baptist church.
