(2) Henry son of Richard de Fordham, servant to Master Robert, master of the order of Sempingham, and also Juliana daughter of (1) (in frank marriage to H.F.), and their heirs

 

Gift from (1) to (2) of 5a. land in K. which (1) held of the church of K. (apart from 2 bovates of his own), comprising 2a. less 8 perches, lying in Bretlandis between land of Robert Lemmer and of William Cadeh, 2a. with all the meadow lying at the head of Lincroft towards the east on either side of the highway between the lands of R.L. and W.C., 1a. lying at Langmare between the lands of R.L. and W.C., and 1 selion of 2 perches of arable and meadow (taken from the said 2 bovates) lying in breadth next to the western side of the mill of the moor, and stretching in length from the highway to the pond (to make up for the deficiency of Bretlandis and Langmare), with the provision that the property remains to Henry if Juliana dies childless.
