Note on the boundaries of the division

 

In 1855, the Forest division comprised the following parishes and places :

 

On 1 May 1954, Sonning, Earley, and Woodley and Sandford were transferred to Reading County division (PS/RC). By this time the justices of the Forest division, who had originally sat solely in Wokingham were also sitting in Bracknell.
