Copy of court roll of the manor of Dunhed.

 

Lease of the site of the manor with all lands, meadows, pastures, common of pasture and demesne lands pertaining to the said site, viz. three meadows (15a.), two closes of pasture (12a.) and Park close (8a.), 110a. of arable land (60a. in le Estfeld and 50a. in le Westfeld) with common pasture upon Mendip; licence to cut down all woods and to convert the land to arable or pasture, and licence not to live in the said tenement; to have sufficient fuel and timber for buildings and ploughs from the lord's woods.

 

To hold to Philip Horner, Cecilia Horner and Elizabeth Horner, daughter of the said Philip, for the term of their lives and of the longest liver, at an annual rent of six pounds.
