From: Thomas son of John Peny de la Nesshe To: Peter Peny, brother of Thomas son of John Peny de la Nesshe A grange, 17 acres, 3½ roods in Ash next Sandwich at 'la Nesshe' and elsewhere for a term of 7 years. For an annual payment at 'la Nesshe' of 19 quarters of palm-barley, with value specified. Thomas will give Peter 2 quarters 2 bushels of wheat, 6 quarters of palm-barley, and 2 quarters 4 bushels of vetch as seed, and 10 cops of vetch as forage. This will be restored to Thomas at the end of the term. Conditions on maintenance of property and cutting timber. Rights of distraint if payment in arrears or corn not restored.
