Description:

(i) Settlement on marriage of Charles Henry Rendall and Harriet daughter of Harry Salmon, 1816, with draft letter of attorney, 1824, and later correspondence and accounts concerning trusts raised, 1840-1847.

 

(ii) Settlement on marriage of George Salmon, clerk, and Elizabeth daughter of Rebecca Cay, widow, 1819; declaration of trust re. £3,000 lent on mortgage to William Ward, 1825.

 

(iii) Will of Henry Salmon of Bathampton, attorney at law, 1821, with codicil 1825, pr.1828.

 

(iv) Appointment of new trustees under Rev. and Mrs. Geo. Salmon's marriage settlement, including assignment of part of trust funds to new trustees and release to retiring trustees, 1852.

 

(v) Mortgage from Rev. Geo. Salmon and wife to Thomas Whittington of £2,500 which Mary Anne Salmon has power to raise, and a policy on Mr. Salmon's life, to secure £600 or a transfer of £655 consols, 1854, with Quitclaim to Rev. Geo. Salmon in respect of property at Bath, as in 2 above, 1870.

 

(vi) Appointments by Mrs. Mary Salmon for sale of £1,400 3% consols, 1855 and 1859, and release by Geo. Salmon and wife to George Clutterbuck Tugwell and others re. sale.

 

(vii) Release from Rev. Geo. Salmon to Rev. Henry Rendall effecting a general settlement of claims and liabilities, 1863; schedule of deeds re. settlement trust of Rev. Geo. and Mrs. Salmon, 1825-1859, 1869, and requisitions on title in sale Salmon to Tranter, 1861.
