Title: Porth, 'Porth Gazette'
Description:

Conference to organise the Rhondda Valley in support of the Welsh campaign. Resolution protesting against the Education Act and Defaulting Authorities Act. [20 Sep 1905]

Supports resolution which he thinks "a fairly strong one". Is convinced that Bishop Edwards does not believe in the 1902 Act. Says that Wales is only demanding absolute religious equality and fairness. Complains that Wales is being governed by a second-rate clerk in the Education Dept., evident from the correspondence between Glamorgan County Council and Whitehall. Instances the unfairness in the case of Barry.
