Lease of a messuage or small farm house and lands called Coadlye in the township of Hindford, parish of Whittington: the site of the house, buildings, garden, yard and hempyard (0.1.19), Farm field (2.3.30), meadow (1.3.5), Gravel Bank (1.0.12), Rough Bank (1.2.5), Further Meadow (2.0.28), Brickkiln field (1.2.35), yard (0.3.1), Further Common field (2.1.38), Near Common field (2.3.13), Top field (3.3.7), Gravel Hole Field (4.1.36), garden, part whereon a cottage formerly stood, ((1r), hempyard (23p), Pattys Field (0.3.35), Pattys field (1.0.25), New field (2.0.24), New field (0.1.23) - total 49.0.14 reserving timber and game. Term of 14 years. Rent £60 p.a. Tenant covenants to insure for £500. Arrangements for the end of the tenancy. Landlord will put into repair and provide Jackson with timber in the rough, slate, lime, bricks and materials for future repairs. Jackson is to be allowed to destroy rabbits to prevent them from damaging his crops, but not by shooting and so as not to affect other game. Mytton to pay land and landlord's property tax
