Catalogue description Donor's husband, Sidney Baxter, in the Met Office at Wyton in Huntingdonshire, where he worked during the early part of the Second World War. The people in the office were considered civilians but had to wear uniform when going overseas. This photograph appeared in an article about planes in "The Illustrated", July 4th 1942 Issue. Sidney Baxter enrolled in the R.A.F. in 1943.
